Kakes & Biscuits is built around the idea that celebrations should be fun, creativity should be encouraged and someone else can worry about cleaning up the glitter afterwards.

Located in Casuarina on the Tweed Coast, the creative space has been bringing parties, arts and crafts and hands-on workshops to the community since 2015.

Children's birthday parties are a big part of the fun. Different themes and craft activities allow kids to create something of their own, with options including fairy gardens, bath bombs, dream catchers, tie-dye, treasure chests, slime and painting. Party supplies, themed decorations and food can be brought together as part of the experience, taking much of the planning pressure away from parents.

Creativity continues beyond birthdays. Kakes & Biscuits offers arts and crafts activities, school holiday workshops and programs for younger makers, giving children opportunities to paint, sculpt, sew, design and experiment with different creative projects.

And it isn't only for kids.

Ladies' nights, private events and creative experiences such as Paint & Sip provide grown-ups with their own excuse to pick up a paintbrush, get together with friends and make something without taking things too seriously.
