Northern Rivers Flood Relief

We, like everyone, are heartbroken by the current devastation and situation in Northern Rivers right now, seeing the destruction ravaged on towns, villages, homes, businesses and this land we all call home. And to witness the coming together of community as people have battled to support - and to save! - each other has been nothing short of incredible. In times like these, we have to stand together - because we all know that together, we are strong. To the communities of Northern Rivers, Bundjalung Country, we send our immense love.

How can you help? Northern Rivers Flood Relief

Below is a list with links to just some of the fantastic initiatives and groups making a difference on the ground right now, and ways you can donate to help flood affected victims and communities in Northern Rivers. We know every bit can help — and if you cannot donate money, consider donating your time.

Byron Rangers (@byron_rangers)

Local legends Byron Rangers hit the ground as soon as the devastating floods made impact, and they haven’t stopped since, mobilising 3,000+ local volunteers to organise crisis accommodation, supply food packages, transport goods for people and wildlife, and then start the massive clean up. Here's how you can provide urgent support:

Northern Rivers Flood Relief

The Northern Rivers Flood Relief team is out helping wherever they can by cleaning up and assisting where possible. Besides the rescue and cleanup efforts currently underway, they are calling out to our wider community to please help them to support our neighbours, friends and families. All funds raised will be used to assist in the best way possible, be it buying supplies such as bottled water, food packs, cleaning equipment, as well as providing vouchers that will be given to families affected by the floods to assist them in buying food or home essentials as they begin to rebuild their homes.
