Bun Coffee's story began in Byron Bay in 2005 with Jenny and David Kennedy and a shared passion for making exceptional coffee while respecting the people and places responsible for producing it.

With backgrounds as baristas and café owners, they understood from the beginning that great coffee depends on much more than roasting. Growers, sourcing, consistency, equipment, baristas and the final preparation all play a role in what eventually reaches the cup.

That philosophy continues across Bun's extensive collection of specialty blends and single-origin coffees. The range includes certified organic, Australian-grown and naturally decaffeinated options, providing plenty to explore for everyday coffee drinkers and those interested in origin, processing and flavour.

Responsible sourcing has also been part of the business from its early years. Bun works with coffees sourced through recognised Organic, Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance programs, alongside beans grown here in Australia, connecting quality with greater awareness of the journey behind each crop.

Coffee lovers can experience Bun at its Byron Bay café or visit the Ballina café and roastery, where roasting remains at the centre of the business. Freshly roasted coffee is also available online and through selected cafés and retailers.
