Hotel CBD is the kind of local pub designed to work for plenty of different occasions. Positioned in the heart of Varsity Lakes, close to Bond University, it combines casual dining, drinks, live sport and regular entertainment within a relaxed Gold Coast neighbourhood setting.

The bistro serves lunch and dinner throughout the week, with weekend breakfast adding an easy option for starting Saturday or Sunday over a meal. Pub favourites, regular specials and casual dining make it equally suited to a family dinner, lunch with friends or an uncomplicated midweek meal.

Sport is a big part of the atmosphere. The dedicated sports bar screens major games and events, giving fans somewhere to settle in with a cold drink and follow the action. Regular trivia nights, live music, poker tournaments and other weekly activities keep the calendar moving beyond game day.

Families are particularly well catered for, with an indoor kids' playground providing younger visitors with their own space while parents enjoy a meal nearby. Pet-friendly areas add another reason the venue has become an easy meeting place for the local community.

Hotel CBD can also accommodate group gatherings and functions, making it useful for celebrations, social events and casual get-togethers.

There's nothing overly complicated about the formula, good pub food, cold drinks, entertainment, sport and a welcoming local atmosphere. Whether dropping in for breakfast, meeting friends after work, bringing the family for dinner or settling in for a big game, Hotel CBD is built around creating the kind of everyday experiences locals enjoy returning to.
