Rainbow Roos
Rainbow Roos is a registered charity creating inclusive and adaptable activity programs for children, teens and adults across the Northern Rivers. With soccer at its heart, sessions use movement and play to build confidence, coordination, communication and social connection in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Programs welcome people of all abilities, including participants with physical, developmental and sensory needs, with NDIS support, small-group activities and personalised options also available.

Sport Is the Starting Point. Connection Is the Bigger Goal.
Rainbow Roos uses sport, movement and play to create something bigger than an activity session, a place where people can participate, build confidence and feel genuinely included.
Founded by Brad Ambridge, the registered charity delivers adaptable programs for children, teens and adults across the Northern Rivers. Soccer sits at the heart of the organisation, but winning games or developing elite players isn't the objective. Sessions focus instead on coordination, communication, confidence, social skills and the enjoyment that comes from participating alongside others.
Activities can be adapted for different ages, abilities and individual needs. Rainbow Roos welcomes participants of all abilities, including people with physical, developmental and sensory needs who may find conventional sporting environments difficult to access or enjoy. As an NDIS provider, the organisation can also offer personalised and small-group support where appropriate.
And there are plenty of ways to become involved beyond regular soccer.
Programs include home-school activities, adult social sessions, school and preschool incursions, birthday parties, school holiday programs, community-event activations and Lego-based activities. This broader approach allows movement, creativity and shared experiences to become different pathways towards the same goal: connection.
At its core, Rainbow Roos is about creating opportunities to take part without the pressure to fit a traditional sporting mould.
Someone might arrive wanting to kick a ball, try something new or build a particular skill. What they can also discover is confidence, friendship and a community where participating matters more than competing.
Sport is the starting point.
Connection is the bigger goal.
