Sahana creates clothing slowly, not as a trend, but as a way of respecting the materials, traditions and human hands behind every garment.

Founded by Inosha Campion, the Byron Bay label grew from a lifelong connection to craft, community and slower ways of living. Raised in Sri Lanka, Inosha developed an early appreciation for clothing made with purpose: pieces where the cloth carries meaning, craftsmanship matters and what we wear connects us to the people who created it.

That philosophy now runs through every Sahana collection.

Rather than following the constant cycle of seasonal fast fashion, garments are produced in small numbered runs using natural fibres such as cotton and linen. Textiles are handwoven on traditional pit looms by skilled craftswomen in West Bengal, India, preserving techniques in which patience and human skill remain integral to the finished cloth.

Natural dyes including indigo, madder and pomegranate add another layer to the process. Creating colour can take days, while a single piece of handwoven cloth may take weeks to complete.

The result is clothing where the human hand remains visible, subtle variations become part of the character rather than something to be removed through mass production.
