Summer Sun Label starts with a simple idea: children's wetsuits should be designed for children, not treated as smaller versions of adult surf gear.

Born in the Northern Rivers in 2020 and now run by local mum of three Belinda, the Australian label creates colourful waterwear around the realities of family adventures, from beach and creek days to swimming lessons, camping trips, backyard pools and learning to surf.

Its signature children's wetsuits use Yulex® natural rubber rather than conventional neoprene, creating a soft, flexible fit designed to move comfortably with growing bodies. UPF 50+ protection provides added coverage from the Australian sun, while bright colour combinations make the suits easy to spot during busy days around the water.

The range includes long and short sleeve springsuits and paddle suits, alongside children's swimwear and selected clothing. Sizes extend across the early childhood years, with designs intended to remain useful across seasons and be passed down when they're finally outgrown.

There's a distinctly Northern Rivers feeling behind it all. Founder Emilie originally created the brand after recognising the need for functional, protective and comfortable waterwear for her own children. Belinda first discovered Summer Sun Label as a customer before joining the business in 2022 and later taking ownership.

Today, Summer Sun Label continues that family-first philosophy, making waterwear for kids who would rather stay in for one more swim.
