Tweed Eco Cruises has been exploring the Tweed River since 1993, introducing visitors and locals to its wildlife, landscapes, food and communities through a collection of relaxed river experiences.

The family-owned, women-led business operates three purpose-built vessels, allowing each cruise to take on its own personality.

Catch crabs and get closer to the river's marine life on the Catch-a-Crab experience. Slow things down with a grazing cruise featuring regional produce. Head out as the light changes for a sunset cruise, or discover the river's ecosystems and wildlife while hearing more about the landscape unfolding around you.

Food is an important part of the experience too, with Tweed and Northern Rivers producers incorporated into selected cruises and menus. That connection allows the story of the region to continue from what's visible along the riverbanks to what's served onboard.

The vessels can also be privately chartered for weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, celebrations and group experiences, turning the Tweed River itself into the venue.
