Yodelay Music is a Northern Rivers music school helping children, teenagers and adults develop confidence, creativity and a lifelong connection with music through individual lessons, group sessions, band programs and school-based music education.

With dedicated studios in Bogangar near Cabarita Beach, Murwillumbah’s M|Arts Precinct and Mullumbimby, Yodelay provides in-house tuition across a broad range of instruments including guitar, bass, drums, piano, vocals, saxophone, flute, clarinet and other brass and woodwind instruments. Students can learn one-to-one or in small groups, while band sessions create opportunities to experience the very different joy of making music with others.

Yodelay’s reach extends well beyond its studios. Its teaching team currently delivers school music programs at Bogangar Public School, Pottsville Beach Public School, Cudgen Public School, St Ambrose Catholic Primary School and Ocean Shores Public School, making professional music tuition more accessible during and around the school day.

The school programs vary by location and can include individual tuition, small-group instrumental lessons, choir, concert band and broader musical experiences. Depending on the school, students can learn instruments ranging from guitar, bass and drums through to piano, vocals, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, clarinet and flute.

Yodelay also runs workshops, holiday programs, recording opportunities, masterclasses and performances. Its renowned Yodelay Super Band, made up of Yodelay teachers, supports local artists at gigs and festivals and reinforces the idea that students are learning from active musicians, not simply instructors. Across its studios and school programs, Yodelay delivers more than 8,000 music tuition sessions each year.
